The Curvy Collective Starts an Honest Conversation on Curves

Chicago, IL , November 23, 2015 (Newswire.com) - The Curvy Collective has launched a campaign that is designed for women nationwide to engage in a collective conversation for one week to build confidence and positive body messages.

The Curvy Collective initiatives enable curvy women nationwide(https://louqi.top) to claim their curves and voices by sharing their unique stories. Through social media engagement we will build one collective voice and continue the conversation on building positive body images and social visibility for healthy conversations. Each day will be dedicated to focus on one of the four principles of the campaign: Principle 1: What We See, Principle 2: What We Say, Principle 3: What We Do, and Principle 4: What We Hear.

"Pop-culture has taught women in order to be desirable mean you have perfect measurements-busty, hippy, and an extensively small waist," "Or to be curvy, women must be unhealthy, unattractive, unwanted, undervalued, obese, and most importantly unhappy in their bodies," stated Serenity Martin, The Curvy Collective founder and Columbia College Chicago student. "We are here to claim our voices and our curves."  Serenity Martin Founder of The Curvy Collective“What We See”
