Echelon Events Makes Giving Back to Houston Major Goal

HOUSTON, TX , June 30, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Echelon Events’ team came together to set and reach business and philanthropic goals and have chosen giving back to the Houston community as a primary focus for the year.

Giving back to the community is a key goal for Echelon Events. “Houston, Texas has been a really great place for our team and business to grow and thrive,” said Director of Operations(https://azvkqx.site) for Echelon Events, Anum. “We want to make sure we’re making a positive difference in the area.”

"Setting stretch goals is a great way to get team members to think of ideas and solutions that are innovative." Anum DirectorThe team recently got together and donated clothing to a local shelter. “We reached out to the shelter and took the time to find out what they really needed. Different groups have different needs, so we wanted to make sure we got this right. Then we raised the funds and bought the right clothes and supplies. It was a great experience to work together as a team, talk about which shelter we wanted to support, make a plan, and successfully complete it. I know I feel good about what our team accomplished,” said Anum.

“We have a lot of different goals planned for the rest of the year, and our team works hard on all the different goals to make what we do a success, including coming up with creative plans for giving back. Our associates have a number of good ideas, so we’ll be participating in events and doing donation drives regularly throughout the year. Everyone here really wants to give back to the people of Houston,” said Anum.

Setting Goals to Keep Echelon Events Moving Forward

Our associates(https://xhamsterpics.site) know it’s important to set and meet growth objectives, so they regularly sit down together and discuss new ideas and strategies for Echelon Events. Once the plan is determined, the entire group goes into planning mode, discussing the steps they need to take in order to reach the new goal.

“Setting stretch goals is a great way to get team members to think of ideas and solutions that are innovative,” shared Anum. “We’re always looking for new methods to approach problems because when we find something that works, it can make a huge impact. We set goals for a wide variety of business metrics – not just for our charitable endeavors.”

Each associate is responsible for setting and meeting their personal objectives as well, Anum explained. “We encourage team members to work with their leaders and mentors to set both short-term and long-term personal and professional goals and then work toward them.”

“When our team works together on a project, we keep everyone accountable,” continued Anum. “When an individual shares a personal goal with the rest of the team, then their teammates can keep them on track, encourage them when they’re doing well, and help open doors to new opportunities.”

It takes everyone to meet an aggressive Echelon Events goal, but everyone is excited to pitch in – especially when it involves making a positive difference(https://jgfktl.site) in the Houston community.
